5-7-2021: Het dagelijks bestuur van de Veiligheidsregio Kennemerland (VRK) heeft, na overleg met directeur GGD Kennemerland Bert van de Velden, besloten om een externe, onafhankelijke partij in te schakelen om te onderzoeken hoe het afstemmingsproces bij de totstandkoming van het rapport ‘Incidentie en prevalentie van kanker in de regio’ binnen de GGD is verlopen. Zowel het dagelijks bestuur van de Veiligheidsregio als de GGD-directeur Van de Velden vinden het van belang dat hier zo snel mogelijk duidelijkheid over komt.
